As a Senior Software Engineer at Capably, you’ll build the systems that make enterprise AI actually work in production. You’ll design, ship, and scale the core platform capabilities that allow customers to deploy intelligent workflows with the reliability, security, and control real businesses require.

This is a hands-on engineering role with high ownership. You’ll work across product, infrastructure, and AI systems to turn ambitious ideas into dependable software, building the foundations that make complex, highly customised automation possible at scale.

Build and Scale Production-Grade Systems

You’ll work closely with product, design, research, and deployment teams to understand customer needs and translate them into elegant technical solutions. From workflow orchestration and integrations to internal tooling, observability, and platform infrastructure, your work will directly shape how Capably delivers value in real enterprise environments.

• Design, build, and maintain core platform and product systems

Your work will help Capably strengthen its position as an enterprise AI platform built for reliability, governance, and real-world deployment. You’ll play a key role in building the infrastructure and product capabilities that differentiate Capably from agent-only approaches and make automation dependable at scale.

Success in this role means combining speed with sound judgment. You’ll be expected to ship quickly, but never carelessly—making smart technical decisions that support both immediate product needs and long-term platform quality. You’ll take ownership of meaningful parts of the system and help raise the bar for engineering across the company.

By staying close to customer problems and engineering fundamentals, you’ll help ensure Capably continues to push the standard for enterprise AI software. Your ability to build robust systems, navigate ambiguity, and execute with precision will be essential to our next stage of growth.

What You Bring:

1. Strong experience building and shipping production software in fast-moving environments

2. Proficiency in backend and/or full-stack engineering, with strong system design fundamentals

3. Ability to write clean, maintainable, high-quality code and operate effectively across the development lifecycle

4. Experience designing scalable systems, APIs, integrations, and distributed services

5. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimisation skills

6. Ability to work cross-functionally and take ownership from idea to production

7. Experience with AI systems, workflow automation, or enterprise software is a strong plus
